SPRING HAS SPRUNG ! ! !

Finally. . . we have all been waiting for it haven't we? Patiently :)!!! It is going to be a great week weather wise. Time to get those veggie gardens tilled and planted. Well, planting only those cool weather crops like, Swiss chard, beets, onions, peas, spinach, etc. Tilling and planting today, on the road tomorrow :), first stop Virginia, then Myrtle Beach. Prayer for Renewed Hope

Lore, renew our hope when unexpected crises throw us off the path,

when, like the disciples scattering to Emmaus,

we are discouraged and confused.

They had been hoping that Jesus would be the one to redeem Israel.

After his death, they could not see the future they had expected.

They could not see him, walking beside them, teaching them.

When we cannot see the path ahead, shake us out of our expectations.

Help us to see that you are with us, teaching us on the way,

breaking the bread that will sustain us.

Amen.
