Morning Stroll

On vacation today, so I made myself buttermilk pancakes topped with blueberries and pure maple syrup. Took my coffee outside when I was finished to take a look around. I don't get to do this much these days working full time. As I was glancing around I had to do a double take to check out the blue thing hanging off the Coppertina Ninebark. Ran up to get the camera cuz I thought it was worthy of a picture. Here it is along with a couple of flying flowers. Then to work, harvesting Basil and making Pesto much of the day. Later in the day I started a somewhat new project...creating the garden around the patio that was just put in. I posted on the patio a short while ago. I'll have to get some before and after pictures. In the mean time, here are the pics from today. Be sure to click on the pictures to enlarge, the detail of the dragonfly wings is exceptional.
