Live Life Simply

Since my return from Assisi, life has been flying by. The Christmas season has crept up on us as we rush around shopping, baking, decorating, doing all those things we do during the holiday season to make everything special....well, at least I do.

Christmas is not about store bought gifts but about sharing time, love, joy, etc. These are also gifts that are often overlooked.
I have a plaque on my kitchen wall that says "Live Life Simply", I have it because I need continual reminders especially at Christmas. Don't fall for the commercialism, remember the reason for the season.

So today's lesson for anyone who needs it is:
"Live Life Simply"

About the Chant

Some of you are wondering where the chant came from that accompanies my slide presentation. The chant you hear is one that we heard during our meditation sessions. There were others but this was my favorite. I must add that while Assisi was wonderful, the meditation sessions prepared for us were equally inspiring.

Assisi Pilgrimage + Slide Show

From the beginning :)

The chant you hear is:

Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya

meaning:

Om is the name of that inside me, which is aware of the Oneness of all things.

Thank you to all of you at the Assisi Institute and beyond for your warmth and friendship,
Craig, Vickijo, Amy, Paula, Rose, Mary Lee,
Tom, Cara, Christy, Mike and Margaret.
God Bless you all!
