Delicious and creamy!
Peanut Butter Pie1 prepared (9 inch) graham cracker or chocolate crust1 - 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened3/4 cup peanut butter1 cup confectioners sugar1 - 8 oz. container of frozen whipped toppingIf desired melt 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in microwave for 60 seconds. Stir until melted. Spread over prepared crust and refrigerate until chocolate is firm.Mix cream cheese, confectioners sugar and peanut butter together until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. spoon the mixture into prepared crust. Chill at least 2 hours or over night.Garnish with whipped topping and/or chocolate curls, quartered peanut butter cups, chopped peanuts, etc. I like this pie creamy but if you want more texture try using chunky peanut butter or add chopped peanuts.I made this garnished with whipped topping and without. It really doesn't need the extra whipped topping. I also made my own crust (it was a little thick). Both times I made the crust it was thick, thicker than I thought it should be. I think I might buy a prepared crust next time.
